The straddle carrier is built by Cribb Point Engineering, an Australian company. It has a maximum lifting capacity of 45 tonne and is purpose built to lift and manoeuvrer vessels from water to land for repair and maintenance. The straddle carrier can accommodate vessels up to 20 metres in length and 6 metres in width.
New yachts by Palm Beach Motor Yachts built in the Central Coast are antifouled insitu then transported to Fenwicks Marina for launching and delivery to new owners. French Dufour yachts arrive encased fully in plastic and the Shipwrights bolt on the keel while the yacht is held steady in the travel lift.
